I’ve been teaching IB Maths for seven years, mainly with students taking AA HL and SL. My lessons are structured and exam-focused, so we spend time on methods, notation and the sort of slips that cost marks. I also help with Internal Assessments, especially when students are unsure how much maths to include or how to present it clearly. Sequences, calculus and proof are the topics I teach most often.

Hi, I’m an IB Maths tutor who works mostly with students doing AI SL and HL. I started out helping sixth formers with revision classes and ended up sticking with IB because I like how varied the course is. I’m especially useful if stats feels messy or your IA idea is there but not quite working yet. In lessons I usually explain a method, do a couple together, then leave you to try one properly on your own.

My background is in mathematics education, and I have spent the last ten years supporting IB students in both Analysis and Approaches and Applications and Interpretation. I am particularly experienced in helping students who understand the content in class but struggle to write complete, high-scoring exam solutions. Much of my teaching centres on algebraic fluency, functions, calculus and careful use of past-paper mark schemes.

I teach IB Maths full-time and mostly work with students who want steady weekly support rather than last-minute cramming. A lot of the people I help are fine with the basics but get stuck when questions become more wordy or less familiar. I like teaching functions and probability because they’re usually the point where things start to click. I can also help shape an IA so it sounds like you and not like something pulled from a template.

I have tutored IB Maths for more than eight years and work across both HL and SL. My approach is calm but demanding: we identify weak areas quickly, practise them in depth, and then revisit them until the method is reliable under timed conditions. I routinely support students with revision planning, past-paper technique and IA feedback. My strongest areas are calculus, vectors and financial mathematics.

Hey, I mainly teach IB Maths to students who feel they’ve fallen behind and need someone to go through it without rushing. I’m used to working with both AA and AI, and I’m very happy rebuilding topics from scratch if that’s what’s needed. I probably spend most of my time on functions, trigonometry and stats, plus the usual pre-exam panic over past papers. I also help with IAs when the maths is fine but the write-up feels awkward.
